God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!

You may be the only Jesus they see.

When anyone looks at me
let them see Jesus.
Let me be a reflection
of His love and mercy to them
When they start to read
my life story.
I want it to bring my Savior glory.
When anyone looks at me
let them see Him.

I’m not looking for fortune,
and I’m not seeking for fame.
I’m not so concerned,
that all the world knows my name. (oh no)
But I am consumed with one passion,
to share what the Lord’s done for me.
And I want my life
to shine with His light,
So all those around me can see!

I can remember singing this song as long as I can remember! I have always wanted people to see Jesus in me and not just me. I rather them see Jesus than me!! I have tired to make this song a lifestyle with me. In whatever I do I want people to see Jesus. The way I act, dress, play, work, talk, sing, worship, anything!! If I do anything right it’s because God has given me the ability to do it. I want NO glory, God gets it all!!

We need to make sure in whatever we do you can see Jesus. If you can’t see Him what’s the point?

You may be the only Jesus they see!

So many times we get frustrated at little things like the person at starbucks didn’t make your drink right. Well, instead of getting all mad just nicely walk up to the person and ask them to fix it. You don’t know what the other person is going through. You don’t know if they are thinking about suicide. I know that’s a little out there but it’s true!! There are so many people that commit suicide daily! So, you walking up and being rude just might send them over the edge. (Lord, I hope not). But I’m serious, you don’t know what kind of a impact you are making on someone’s day/ week/ life. So why not make a good impact on them!?

I have had many people say bad things about me to my face and behind my back. But the one that has probably hurt me the most was someone said “Don’t hang out with Vanessa because she will make you backslide?”. And it wasn’t a kid who said that it was an adult… yeah… Just because I’m the only one in my family going to church that doesn’t mean I will make you backslide. In fact in the Bible I’m pretty sure it says NOTHING can separate you from the love of God!! Does it not?! Only you can jump out of the hand of God and leave….Anyway, getting off topic. lol.

But, that comment hurt me. A lot. And I think it hurt more because it came from an adult. My point is you never know how much your words can hurt someone. You either build them up or tear them down with your words. So, think before you speak, because words are damaging!

I am guilty of saying some hurtful things but I try my very best to keep my mouth shut. Like the old saying goes “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.” That’s why I don’t get mad very often, because I normally walk away from the person before I say something I will regret.

And that cashier that messed up your drink could have already been having a bad day. And if you are mad and that person can’t see Jesus in you who are they seeing? What if God told you to go back into starbucks (after you just got done being rude, because they messed up your drink) and invite that person to church? What would that cashier think? I’ll tell you one thing that person probably wouldn’t come. Why?? Because they didn’t see Jesus in you!! All they seen was another rude customer, what’s the big deal… That’s why it’s important to let Jesus be seen in you! It only takes a spark to start a fire!!

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!

February~ What’s on your heart tag.

Thank you Sis. Amy for nominating me for this! You are just the best!😍😂 Here are the rules!!

  1. Thank the person who nominated you to participate.
  2. Link back to the Original post.
  3. Attach an image that inspires you regarding the month’s theme (or use the original).
  4. Talk about what this month’s theme means to you.
  5. Answer the questions.
  6. Nominate one or more people to participate.
  7. Enjoy the rest of your month!!❤

Our theme is called: What’s on your heart?

What’s on my heart?! Umm…Lots I guess. If I could use one word to describe what’s on my heart it would be DEEPER. I know what all of you just thought “Huh?”. Let me explain. This year well not really this year. This word has been on my heart for the past 8+ months. I can’t even express how much this word means to me. I want to go deeper into what God has for me!!! I want to go deeper into his presence!!! I want to go deeper into his word!!! I want to know him deeper!!! This has been on my heart for the past 8+ months. And, I’m finally seeing it happen! I’ve gotten SO close to God over the past few months like never before. And, the deeper I go the more I want him more! That’s what has been on my heart.

  • Do you believe in love at first sight?

I’m not sure… Probably not. (That answer could possibly change when I actually start dating…lol.)

  • Do you believe in soulmates?

  • What’s the first thing you notice about a person?

The first thing I normally notice is if they are fake or not. I can’t stand fake people!! If your going to be my friend please don’t be fake. I have enough of fake people in my life. I don’t need more! Thank ya!😂😉

  • What’s your ideal date?

How am I supposed to know?!😂 I’m 15 going on 16 and I don’t plan on dating anytime soon. Lol. I know most teenage girls are boy crazy… I’m not… I’m sorry. That’s just not me. Even if I was boy crazy I couldn’t do anything about it anyway. So, I’ll just save that until I actually can start dating. Which is NOT that big of a deal to me anyway.😂 Anyways…

  • What traits do you look for in a friend/significant others?

HONESTY!!! That is SO important to me. I’ve had so many friends/people lie to my face and behind my back! To be honest… it makes me sick. I try my very best to be the nicest friend to people and all they do is lie to me and treat me like dirt. That’s why Jesus is my best friend!!!!!! He’s been there for me…ALWAYS!!

  • What are your thoughts on being friends with an ex?

🙄🤔. I’ve never been in that position but I would probably say it’s not a good idea. But, I mean if your both cool with it I guess it would be fine, but don’t keep stirring the pot just for fun.😉

  • If you’re a believer, when did you give your heart to the Lord? If not, what in life keeps a bounce in your step?

I gave the Lord my heart when I was 9 years old at my first youth camp. And the ONLY thing that keeps a bounce in my step is the Lord!!

The people I am going to nominate are: Starr & Jessie. Congrats! I hope to read your posts about this soon!😉

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!

Sorry, for taking so long! When I showed the Bride today she cried the whole way through it!😂 She was so happy with them. Which made me want to cry, because all of the time, stress, and all that. But, it was SO worth it!!

I’ll shut up now… Here they are!!!

Those pictures⬆️⬆️ are from the wedding rehearsal. Here are the pictures of the actual wedding!! The next pictures are pictures of all the details.

Okay, the next pictures are going to be of the wedding going on.

He was crying!!😍😭 This one is one of my favorites!

THE FIRST KISS!!! I seriously thought I was going to miss this shot!

After the kiss! She wouldn’t stop smiling!😍

He started dancing and she didn’t even think about it and she started dancing too!! It was HILARIOUS!! These next pictures are after the wedding.

The next pictures are of the reception.

The next pictures are the send off!!

AND THAT’S IT!!! There is actually A LOT more. Those are just a little bit!😂 I hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them! If the pictures are blurry that is because of WordPress the pictures are not actually blurry.😉 Sorry, it took so long. I hope it was worth the wait!!

What was your favorites?!🤔😉

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!

A mention of his name!!!

I’m back home!!🤗 It’s been a fun few days. First, I want to share a miraculous story with you that happened to me and my grandparents.

So, I left Wednesday to head out of town. We met my grandparents and I was riding home with them and then something happened.

So, there was a lot of hay in the road (2 bales of hay) that had fallen off a truck or something. And so we drove through it not thinking about it that much and when we was driving my granny said “the cars on fire”. There was hay that got stuck under the car and caught on fire! The flames were up to the windows of the car!! (Before the hay caught on fire I looked behind us to see if there was anymore cars… There was NO ONE!! Remember that!) Anyway, we slowed down and right about that time I sreamed “Jesus” (In my mind, not out loud because my grandparents aren’t saved and I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable) and all of a sudden the fire was completely gone and we stopped got out and looked and there was a ambulance with it’s lights on and there was a big pile of hay on fire! It was incredible! The ambulance came out of nowhere and it only took me mentioning the name of Jesus!!

So, I’m thankful that God had his hand of protection on me and my grandparents!! I was almost certain that the car was going to burn down!! And, there was no way out for me and my granny, because the flames were up to the windows!! That is One of the reasons I put “God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!” At the end of every one of my posts! God is ALWAYS good!!

(Now, I can say “I’ve been through the fire!”) 😂😂

All jokes aside… I really am grateful for his protection over my family! Thank you, Lord!

God’s good all the time, and all the time God is good!!!!
