In the blink of an eye

It all could be gone… your life… in the blink of an eye, you could leave out of this world and go into eternity…

If this happened, would you be standing before God surprised, because you weren’t ready? You thought you had more time, so you just kept pleasing your flesh for a short time.

“I’m just 10, 18, 35, 48, I have plenty of time… I’ll get right with God later”

What if there isn’t a later? What if you don’t have tomorrow? We are not promised tomorrow, guys!

If you even have a question about if you are right with God or not, why wait? You could get up tomorrow, and get in car crash and go out into eternity just like that and you didn’t get right with God before you ran out of time.

There is no “perfect time” . Why wait? Why play games with a God that doesn’t play games. He never has and He never will play games with your soul, so why should you?!

As you lay your head on your pillow tonight, are you certain if you didn’t wake up tomorrow where you’d be? Or is there doubt, fear, questions?

Are you ready?…..

This post was inspired by what happened to me today while traveling for work.

Its a long story, but I got to a school and come to find out they had rescheduled without telling me, so I had to load up and go to another school 1 hour away from where I was at. I started driving that way… and on the drive to the other school, I almost got in a horrible car accident. It could’ve easily hurt me a lot or killed me.

I was on the highway going 75-80mph and the car in front of me all of a sudden slammed on his brakes. I mean, he completely locked his brakes up and we were going at least 75mph. So I slammed on my brakes, and I kept slamming on them as I hear my tires screeching, because I had to completely lock my brakes up to make myself not hit the car in front of me. The car in front of me was a huge car and if I had not been paying attention, if in that split second I would have decided to look away and not see the car in front of me slam on their brakes, I would have hit that car in front of me going 75mph and my car was a lot smaller than that car, so I would’ve went up under the back- end of the car in front of me. It would have totaled my car completely, and I probably would’ve been hurt very bad if not killed. But I thankfully got stopped within like 2 feet from the back of that car….

It happened within a second and I could’ve been dead. It just so happened that I was really paying attention to the car in front of me, which I normally do pay good attention, but I was really paying attention and I don’t know why, but if I hadn’t I would’ve been in a 3-4 car pile-up.

God is merciful and I thank Him for His protection. I pray everyday before work for his protection and for angels to be around me as I drive and He came through. He definitely protected me….

So that’s the reason for this post… I could be dead right now, but God… so, say your blessings, don’t take life for granted, and don’t play around with your soul. We aren’t promised tomorrow….

My ‘2021’ on my tassel got filled upside down because I slammed on my brakes so hard. My camera backpack slammed up against my dash too.

In just a blink of an eye….

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV
